Painting & lettering with thread

addI love to baste fabric. If I could find a job in a dress shop
sitting in a corner basting, I would take it.
Over the winter months I have been basting with thread, ribbon and beads
on recycled wool fabric and mull. As we move into spring
I will start adding letterforms into the mix.

Nancy, What a treat it was to come upon your work on the Night Circus site. It brought back wonderful memories of meeting you at Haystack. I recently came across a small piece of handmade paper with your beautiful scribblings—and my name—that was your scrap for a project you were developing in the workshop.
