The artist wrote the poetry and painted the illustrations which were inspired by a mid-winter dream. The designs are lettered and painted in watercolor, gouache, and gold leaf on pale green T.H. Saunders vintage paper. The dark green felted wool cover lined in geen silk was embroidered by the artist. The dark green clamshell box, lined in green silk, was made by Joelle Leavitt Webber of Mermaid Bindery.
