The poetry for this book is taken from "Fruits of the Practice" by Emily Whittle of Red Springs, North Carolina. The colorfully decorated plant pages were created by Liliane Kell, Ellsworth, Maine. The text is lettered in gouache on handmade muslin paper by Katie MacGregor, Whiting, Maine. Joelle Leavitt Webber of Mermaid Bindery, created the green silk fabric binding and made the clamshell box lined with Kell’s fern papers.
